The National Green Corps (NGC) initiative plays a significant role in teaching our students about environmental protection and sustainability. NGC, a national programme, has been embraced by our school to create a network of change-makers, empowering students, teachers, and the wider community to actively participate in the conservation of natural resources.
To this end, we have formed an NGC Committee comprising Green Teachers and Green Soldiers. Their role is to drive green initiatives, raise awareness, and encourage sustainable practices within the school and surrounding community.

Rallies for Environmental Awareness: Our eco-rallies carry powerful messages about environmental conservation. Students and teachers march through the school and nearby areas, raising awareness and promoting actions like cleanliness, waste management, and sustainability.
Soundless Diwali: To reduce noise pollution during festivals, especially Diwali, we motivate our students and their families to celebrate in a soundless manner, thereby minimizing disturbance to nature and wildlife.
Eco-Friendly Festivities: As part of our commitment to reducing environmental harm, we encourage the making of clay Ganesh idols during the Ganesh festival, which are distributed to all students. This initiative prevents the harmful effects of synthetic idols on water bodies and promotes sustainable celebrations.
No Plastic Campaign: Our school runs an ongoing 'No Plastic' campaign, encouraging students, staff, and the local community to significantly reduce the use of plastic. We aim to minimize plastic waste on campus by advocating for alternatives like cloth bags and reusable containers.
